Homemade French Fries

Nighttime was the right time to try a little more pizazz with this open-faced toasted cheeseburger topped with guacamole and homemade french fries.  While cutting the vegetables I realized how easy it is to stay in the moment now, even though inside I'm pretty sure I'm scared to death with a long list of legitimate worries for a post-Corona world.  But again, if I don't allow the thought to form in my mind, it can't manifest.  Just as an old friend used to say after shameful drunken excursions, If I don't remember, it didn't happen! This isolation also provides the perfect environment for natural occurring meditation throughout the day. That can only be a great thing.  I find myself at ease like the old lions in the zoo at dusk without a care in the world.  Normally we'd be out there working, fighting, stressing but for the first time in our lives we can just sit here and look around, really live in our immediate surroundings.  Simple things like a detailed virtual tour of your bedroom, viewing each piece is like seeing them for the first time.  Instead of noticing what needs cleaned or dusted, just being in the stillness of the objects is everything.  It's real to sense your connection then morph into a oneness... and it's glorious!   Why aren't we all doing this?!!


Wouldn't it be so great to continue to work and have jobs but not go back to the dissociation with our world, to stay this connected?   I have some friends who believe this virus is all a conspiracy created by the Deep State and out there stuff.  But I feel the truth of what is happening right now is something much more interesting.  I'm all for an awakening but not one that proves The Clintons are heading the largest pedophilia movement.  What a strange look into hopefully only a small portion of society's psyche.  I can believe crazy corruption and lies but Qanon is like Bigfoot Eats the Loch Ness Monster but they're all really cross dressing aliens.  No, I'm shooting for something cooler.  Maybe in the same way we don't truly understand how plants plot and maneuver to survive so well without a brain, collective consciousness might be at work during this time of openness, finding creative ways to fix and grow us using the energy of hope coming from all the good people including the ignorant far right, the obnoxious far left and all of us in between.  And with this unique individual opportunity to tune in we might also find a better natural state to reside in.
