Sometimes I Don't Even Know the Reason Why

One-armed Pantry Chili

I woke at the crack of dawn for an x ray, to downtown Brooklyn, a place you don't want to be walking in an arm sling or looking vulnerable, especially at that hour.  Then I sat in an ultra depressing waiting room for an hour with a lot of sick elderly people in wheelchairs that looked down on their luck to find out from a very loud receptionist that the location did not perform the test I needed.  As I walked home, I felt like I had dodged a bullet of some sort.  I'm not sure how, but I did feel nudged to be very grateful for my current life, even though from where I sat at the moment, it didn't feel that awesome.

Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone at home?
