Bacon fat Scone

My guy's boss made Bacon Fat Scones and gave them out to coworkers.  Of course P brought it right home. He's not a sweets guy. I was so excited to try it.  Anyone that thinks people that cook don't like to try other people's creations are so wrong.  I was thrilled!  Loved the packaging.  Interesting texture.  Very crumbly.  I ate the whole thing. Nothing like it really, lots of spice.  Not sure if it was a success but I love the idea and feel bacon fat is under-utilized these days. My mom always kept a tin container of it for cooking. You could taste something of a savory background but if he hadn't told me I might not have known. But would I eat another one?  Most definitely, yes!
