Steak Bites with Bloody Mary Sauce

Super Bowl Snack 2024.  No one is less excited about the game than me, but I do love the feel of the day, the celebration and the snacks.  The anticipation of fun.  The halftime show.  

Chili Lime Shrimp Cups

These zesty bites from GimmeDelicious.com won Best Appetizer!  It figures, anything that is it's own cup would be a highlight.  They are easy, crunchy, spicy, with a little wow factor.  They are perfect bites with the creamy sour cream.  I didn't have lime or arugula, so I used cilantro and pickled jalapeno & juice.  

Taco Salad

I totally agree that this is not sexy or extravagant but I needed some roughage with a cool, citrus dressing for relief from all the savory elements.

Baked Chicken Parmesan Tenders

I just added about a 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese to the Panko mixture of this recipe and soaked the tenders in salted water for 10 minutes to tenderize before coating.  

All in all, I was satisfied with the spread and there was enough downtime to enjoy the commercials.
