Black Rice Bowl
I love a good rice bowl. This one was mediocre at best. Black rice, steamed broccoli, grape tomatoes, chicken sausage. This was like 4 strangers forced to sit in a room without a lot in common. Everyone was familiar with the tomato from other events but not enough for fun times to ensue. The party ended quietly and uneventful.
They all suggested another friend that might have enjoyed this little get together more, like roasted red onion and peppers which I thought was a great idea. We all agreed it was a lovely evening but would most likely never meet again in this combination and left it at that.
