Paired with sauteed savoy cabbage, the perfect winter vegetable braised in a little chicken stock. A lighter take on burger night.
this is a blog about the food in my life. what I eat, what I wanna eat, what I make, what I bake, what I wanna make and bake, ideas and recipes. it's also my thoughts on food or stories behind the meals. The lyric references are from my lifelong love of classic rock and funk and from working a hunnerd years in music retail.

It's Your Thing, Do What You Wanna Do
Burgers are special, always good, personal creations that everyone can claim. I like experimenting with different meats and flavors. This night I made a ground chicken apple soy burger. Ground chicken mixed with small diced green apple, red onion, a bit of Panko crumbs, an egg and seasoned with soy sauce and ginger, a little sesame oil. This is a winning combination of flavors and the great thing is that you don't need cheese or bacon to top this burger. A little spicy mustard will do.

Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone at home?
