A bug flew in my eye at maximum speed while riding home on my bike today. It was a quick death for the bug but for me the impact lasted for a couple of hours. First it might have crashed into my cornea, then dissolved or broke up after I tried to rub it out. But he definitely struggled. There was something abrasive that felt like his head collided into my eye flesh or maybe one of his little legs stayed in the bottom canal of my eye socket, hard to know for sure. I was riding the wrong way down the back street to avoid traffic and I about crashed into an oncoming car so the whole fiasco felt like a wreck.
I felt slightly impaired so I just made a salad for dinner, a ham and cheese salad, that is, served with cauliflower crackers that looked like Cheezits.
My sis grows gorgeous happy looking hollyhocks each year.
