There is something barbaric yet completely satisfying about picking up a huge leg of meat and ripping into it. In my mind, suddenly I'm Raquel Welch, rugged, unrefined but super hot and strong! Willing to fight another cave woman for my meat. Doesn't that sound like a fun place to go? Back in reality though a roasted turkey leg with skin on it is really not that bad for you and does have lots of nutritional benefits like protein, B vitamins, calcium, iron and potassium. I served with roasted broccoli.
this is a blog about the food in my life. what I eat, what I wanna eat, what I make, what I bake, what I wanna make and bake, ideas and recipes. it's also my thoughts on food or stories behind the meals. The lyric references are from my lifelong love of classic rock and funk and from working a hunnerd years in music retail.

Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone at home?
