It's taken me years but I've yet to understand my style of cooking. I don't follow recipes and after several years, I've not proved to dish out traditionally perfect meals. Instead, I experiment and play around with ideas and themes and mix styles. Usually not repeating the same dish but variations of. I'm mystified as to how I can contribute to society with my love of fun food. I couldn't be called an influencer, instead, I'd say I'm influenced. The way I cook everyday is always heavily influenced by others. A picture, a movie, a web post, my sisters, my friends, lunch at work, riding by a restaurant, our market, a billboard, just about any flash of food sparks a craving in me. Many times, like yesterday, a mixture of two or three dishes must be had in order to squelch all of the hankerings.
Like this fall-off-the bone stewed chicken but in a more light spicy, garlicky, tangy Puttanesca-type sauce, with macaroni noodles.

Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone at home?
