Always Stay Humble and Kind

Baked Crispy Bone-In Chicken Breasts with Red Wehani Rice

Preheat oven to 450.  Make a generous mix of garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper and either cayenne or curry powder and add a teaspoon of dual action baking powder.  Dry the chicken pieces, then douse them in seasoning, spritz them lightly with oil and bake for about 30 minutes.

Wehani Rice is a designer rice made only by the Lundberg company. It is chewy and nutty, I love it. Thought maybe it was Hawaiian but no it is named after the brothers, Wendell, Eldon, Homer, Albert and Harlan.  Great if you like your rice with a bite.

Watched a video about words having such a great power that they can actually change their physical environment.  Rice and snowflakes were talked to positively and negatively and opposite results were formed.  I am all about this theory.  Affirming words go such a long way.  And not just having them spoken to you which is so amazing and helpful but also what comes out of your own mouth.  It feels better for you, and continues to benefit throughout the day like exercise.
