It's Just That Simple

Simple, no frills breakfasts are sometimes the best.  If you haven't fried an egg lately, you can forget how special and satisfying that perfect combination of soft yolk and delicate whites with the slight crisp on the edges, can be.  Sopped up with, in this case leftover cornbread and a salty spicy chicken sausage is the perfect mix of all the elements needed to start a day.
Not every day, just this one.

Pop That Thang!

There is something to be said about breakfast for dinner, about a good fried egg and also eggs combined with pork chops.  It's an ultimate satisfactory oral sensation combo.  I guess the only thing better would be steak and eggs.  But actually with steak, the steak is clearly the better thing on the plate.  The eggs are good with the steak but it's still all about the steak. With pork chops and eggs, they both compliment each other very well and you are equally excited to eat them both, and together.  Pork doesn't overpower but enhances the egg. To dip a nice chunk of spicy meat into the yellow creamy egg yolk.  That's a perfect moment in time.

Sunny, One So True, I Love You

Sunny Side Up! Sometimes you just have to fry your eggs in the morning. The thought of an omelet, or timing the poached eggs or even chopping all the additions for a fun scramble is too much work. Cracking it on the side of the pan, hearing the immediate sizzle and you have your sausage going, the toast is popping up and you've already poured the juice.... The taste of a fried egg is very uniquely satisfying at times like these.
