Leftover breakfast scramble. Egg White & Canadian bacon scramble with all the leftover vegetables that I had from the week like bok choy, swiss chard, green onion, red onion, and mushrooms. I'm so cheap. And I like really easy simple things.
Why? Because it's not hard to enjoy expensive elaborate things but for me it's so much more satisfying when I can still have fun and have a great meal but all the while, save money, not waste food, use up all my grocery booty which in turns makes me feel like I'm a good buyer and also it pushes me to be more creative and experiment. A fuller joy.
this is a blog about the food in my life. what I eat, what I wanna eat, what I make, what I bake, what I wanna make and bake, ideas and recipes. it's also my thoughts on food or stories behind the meals. The lyric references are from my lifelong love of classic rock and funk and from working a hunnerd years in music retail.
