Let's face it, while utterly delicious, baked chicken thighs certainly don't gain lots of points in the excitement category. Vegetables are always amazing, and greens can only make you feel better and pump more life into your body and soul.
The star in this dinner was the Brussels sprouts and Kale sauteed with onions and crisped ham and salami. Garlic and hot pepper flakes with just about any green is great but when you cook them to perfection and not to death, you really taste another dimension of their flavors. Add butter and it's just so delicate!
this is a blog about the food in my life. what I eat, what I wanna eat, what I make, what I bake, what I wanna make and bake, ideas and recipes. it's also my thoughts on food or stories behind the meals. The lyric references are from my lifelong love of classic rock and funk and from working a hunnerd years in music retail.
